I am writing about the civilian agents in Washington, DC. I'm from Texas. I occasionally go down to Arlington, Virginia to watch the Capitals practice. There are Czechs, Russians, Slovakians, Danes, and Swedes on the team. I think they're Nazis, or at least they might have relatives in the Czech air force, for example. The practice rink is near the Ballston metro station, which is kind of far inside Virginia.
Last time I went in the spring after the All Star Game. Tom Wilson came into the city and he signed autographs at the auto show at the Convention Center. There is a lull in the season kind of near the end. Also, it's warm then.
I'm not going anywhere near the practice rink, probably, until it gets warmer. First of all, the practice rink is about 20 or 30 minutes inside Virginia. And it's really cold out. By the time I got there I would be too cold to even watch the practices. (December 9, 2021)

I have never been to Hawaii. I have a cousin who lives there, she makes pottery. If I had been to Hawaii I would know more.
But, the Japanese sent planes all of the way to Hawaii to bomb the ships in the harbor.
These are the significant points about it:
First, they bombed a lot of the American ships in the harbor, but a lot of them were still there and survived intact. It speaks to the greatness of America because there were so many ships at the harbor that the Japanese couldn't bomb them all, does that make sense? It is a testament to the glory of the American navy. There were so many ships in Pearl Harbor that the Japanese gave up on bombing them all, even though they were at the time unmanned and defenseless.
Second, the Japanese commanders reported back that they had truly crippled the navy base. Which wasn't right. They either didn't know they hadn't, or they lied about the damage they had caused. It wasn't an accurate report that the Japanese commanders sent back to headquarters.

She is somehow a saint. When she was a child she was a tobacco farmer. And then she moved to Arizona and married my grandpa. Uncle Arbor was a truck driver. Helen Edwards. I get weird thinking that she might die. Somehow that is important to me that when she does die, she knows that I love her. And so when I die she will be there and tell everyone that she knows me. Maybe because I grew up in Texas and she'll need to point me out to everyone from Kentucky. Ovie Helen Bottoms married Robert Edwards and they lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana after the war. I work for BinBox which is the company that rents the lockers outside of Nationals Park and Capitol One Arena. Usually, I work at the hockey games and basketball games at Capital One Arena in Chinatown. I have a shift there tonight.
The games are at night. We are supposed to wear a blue vest, nametag, and another badge that helps the customers put the locker app on their phone.
There are two young women who work with me, neither of them wear the vest. I wear the vest because we're supposed to. But also, customers know that I work there and so I can talk to them about putting the app on their phone. They have to put the app on their phone in order to rent a locker.
We keep getting these reminders that we're supposed to be on time and wear the vest. And the women still won't wear the vests. To me, it means that locally all of the security guards don't do a good job. They hire people with not much education. I really don't like it when security guards boss me around.
